As the plot slowly thickens
We run around like headless chickens
Spinning our wheels; we need a hero
Our total displacement has been zero
Sometimes we stop to say, 'what the dickens!' 

Yelling

The lash out on Megyn Kelly is telling
What brand of politics they're selling
Wagging his finger; a seventy year old man
Name calling is whats left in the absence of a plan
They've done surprisingly well at yelling

The verdict

It started off with genuine answering of Q.s

But soon spiralled into fighting and abuse

We saw that he’s anti women

With dangerous ideas he’s brimmin’

To accept the verdict, he may choose to refuse

Debate (part II)

If the first one was bad, watching this one was tough!

Started with being nice, but quickly got rough

They didn’t even pretend to talk about their plans

They just hit each other like battering rams

The winner of the debate was #muslimsreportstuff

VP debate

I saw the VP debate in pain
I looked for some substance in vain
They squabbled and squibbled
When asked to defend they fiddled
There was a winner, sadly 'twas't Kaine!

Double standards

Trump can call a lady, ‘piggy’

since he only likes women who are twiggy

meanwhile Hillary must prove her policies

and for her carelessness make apologies

Trump can get away with much more and say, ‘no biggie’

The debate

This week I saw Trump and Hillary in a debate

Hoping to see how they'll make America great

All of Trump's answers seemed scrambled and squiggly

But I understand his ambitions are to win bigly!

I hope we get out of these elections without much hate
